Prohibits municipalities from adopting or enforcing ordinances that restrict access to property owned or controlled by primary caregivers or qualifying patients for medical marihuana use.

Prevents municipalities from requiring approval, registration, or notification to the municipality for individuals engaging in medical marihuana use as primary caregivers or qualifying patients.

Prohibits municipal ordinances that impose additional cultivation conditions, inspections, taxes, or fees on primary caregivers or qualifying patients beyond those in the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act.

Prevents municipalities from restricting medical marihuana use based on zoning requirements, setback requirements, location within structures, or classification as home occupations.

Allows ordinances of general applicability that do not unduly burden or specifically target primary caregivers, qualifying patients, or medical marihuana use.
