Increases school aid appropriation for fiscal year ending September 30, 2023 from $16,754,072,900.00 to $16,754,073,000.00 from the state school aid fund, along with $124,200,000.00 from the general fund and specified amounts from other education trust funds.

Allocates up to $100.00 for fiscal year 2022-2023 to school districts that apply for funding to develop and implement a numbering system as required under MCL 388.851e.

Authorizes reimbursement to districts for purchasing materials and paying staff or workers related to the numbering system development and implementation.

Requires the department to establish the application form and manner for districts to request funding and to determine the payment schedule for distributions.

Bill effectiveness is contingent on enactment of Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 6509 in the 101st Legislature.
