Replaces "shall" with "must" throughout section 16237 to update statutory language regarding disciplinary subcommittee procedures.

Adds exception to prohibition on subcommittees conducting their own investigations, allowing them to do so "as otherwise provided in subsection (7)."

Clarifies that appeal dates reference "April 1, 1994" instead of "the effective date of the amendatory act" and corrects statutory citation from "MCL 24.301" to "MCL 24.303 to 24.306."

Creates new subsection (7) requiring that persons or governmental entities filing complaints against licensees must have opportunity to attend disciplinary subcommittee meetings and participate by providing statements on findings, answering questions, or submitting other relevant information.
