Grants the House Standing Committee on Oversight power to administer oaths, issue subpoenas, and examine books, records, and files related to executive branch employee separations and severance agreements.

Authorizes the committee to compel testimony from elected officers, appointees, former appointees, employees, and former employees of state executive branch departments, boards, institutions, and agencies.

Enables the committee to demand production of books, records, and files pertaining to employee separations and severance agreements within the executive branch.

Derives authority from MCL 4.101, MCL 4.541, and Rule 37 of the House Standing Rules, which authorize legislative committees to investigate matters properly before them.
