References Executive Directive 2020-10 signed in September 2020, which directed the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy to develop the climate plan.

Recognizes the plan's projected benefits including creation of tens of thousands of good-paying jobs, economic development, lower energy and transportation costs, improved public health, and protection of natural resources.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the Governor, the Director of the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and members of the Council on Climate Solutions.
