Restricts election challenger designation to political parties with candidates on the ballot or individual candidates, removing authorization for incorporated organizations and citizen committees previously allowed to designate challengers.

Maintains the limit of no more than 2 challengers per precinct at any one time and no more than 1 challenger per counting board.

Requires all challengers to wear a visible identification badge at all times while serving, displaying the word "challenger," the challenger's name, the designating political party or candidate name, and the specific city, township, and precinct number(s) where authorized to serve.

Repeals MCL 168.731 (Section 731 of the Michigan election law).
