Increases county canvasser board size based on population effective January 1, 2022: 6 members for counties with 200,000-749,999 residents and 8 members for counties with 750,000+ residents, while maintaining 4-member boards for smaller counties.

Adjusts quorum and voting requirements for larger boards: 4-member quorum with 1 member from each party required for 6-member boards, and 5-member quorum with 2 members from each party for 8-member boards.

Modifies initial appointment terms for new board members: staggered 2-year and 4-year terms for 6-member and 8-member boards to be appointed beginning January 1, 2022.

Limits political party representation to not exceed 3 members on 6-member boards and 4 members on 8-member boards, with selection from the two parties casting the greatest number of votes for secretary of state.

Updates canvassing board appointment procedures to allow county commissioners to request information from nominees regarding election experience, felony convictions, and election crimes.
