Removes requirement to possess a concealed pistol license under 1927 PA 372 to carry or transport a pistol in areas frequented by wild animals.

Eliminates references to specific sections of 1927 PA 372 (MCL 28.432a) and the Michigan penal code (MCL 750.227, 750.227a, 750.231, 750.231a) that previously authorized concealed pistol carry without a license.

Allows individuals to transport and carry loaded pistols, whether concealed or not, in areas frequented by wild animals without any license requirement.

Maintains prohibition on using firearms to take wild animals except as otherwise provided by law.

Becomes effective only if Senate Bill No. 492 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.
