Updates survey map preparation standards to permit computer-aided drafting (CAD) and clarifies scale requirements as 1 inch per 500 feet maximum with both numerical and graphic bar scale indicators.

Changes language regarding boundary lines along lakes or streams from "meander lines" to "intermediate traverse lines" and adds requirement to document survey date when measuring distance to water's edge.

Requires professional surveyor certification that the map meets all section 3 requirements and updates terminology from "land surveyor" to "professional surveyor" throughout the statute.
