Allows the legislature to appropriate up to $500,000 from the state survey and remonumentation fund for Michigan's equitable share of costs to monument the Michigan-Indiana state boundary line.

Funds appropriated or transferred to the survey and remonumentation fund after November 1, 2021 may be used for the Michigan-Indiana state line monumentation project.

Maintains existing fund allocations requiring minimum expenditure percentages: 40% for county annual grants on monumentation plans, 40% for department-initiated county plan implementation, 20% for county perpetual monument maintenance grants, and 20% for department-initiated maintenance plan implementation.

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. 627 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.

Effective date: May 19, 2022.
