Amends the definition of "work zone" in Michigan Vehicle Code to clarify it means a portion of street or highway open to traffic adjacent to construction, maintenance, utility work, repair, resurfacing, or surveying activities.

Modifies subsection (a) to require both a sign notifying the beginning of work and an "end road work" sign or the last temporary traffic control device before normal traffic resumes, replacing the previous "work zone begins" and "end road work" sign requirement.

Simplifies subsection (b) by removing the requirement that work activities be "conducted by a work crew and more than 1 moving vehicle," making it apply to any work between "begin work convoy" and "end work convoy" signs.

Revises subsection (c) to apply to work activities with any single moving or stationary vehicle or equipment with rotating beacon or strobe lights, removing the prior limitation to "work crew and 1" vehicle.

Adds new subsection (2) defining "temporary traffic control device" as a traffic control device installed for a limited time period during construction, maintenance, utility work, repair, resurfacing, or surveying activities.
