Adds new definition of "peace officer" to ORV laws to include sheriffs, sheriff's deputies, village/township marshals, municipal police officers, state police officers, and conservation officers employed by the department.

Requires deputy sheriffs to complete at least 40 hours of law enforcement training, including training specific to ORV enforcement, to be authorized as peace officers under this part.

Replaces references to "law enforcement officers" with "peace officer" throughout sections governing ORV operation, enforcement, and rule violations.

Makes technical corrections to statutory language, changing "shall" to "must" and "upon" to "on" for clarity and consistency.
