Establishes an electric vehicle charging equipment rebate program for Michigan residents who purchase and install at-home charging equipment at their principal residence after October 1, 2022.

Provides rebates of up to $500 for eligible applicants who submit a completed application within 120 days of purchase, with the department required to issue rebates within a reasonable time upon determining eligibility.

Limits applicants to one rebate per calendar year for the purchase and installation of at-home charging equipment.

Defines "at-home charging equipment" as either Level 1 chargers (120-volt) or Level 2 chargers (208-240 volt) with J1772, CHAdeMO, or combined charging system connectors installed at a residential home.

Requires applicants to be Michigan residents and allows the department to require documentation to verify eligibility; charging equipment purchase does not need to be simultaneous with electric vehicle purchase.
