Allows nonpartisan election of county sheriffs, prosecutors, county clerks, county treasurers, and registers of deeds under section 192a of the Michigan election law (1954 PA 116), modifying the existing requirement for partisan elections of these offices.

Changes references from "which" to "that" in two locations within the statute regarding coordination of administrative decisions and annual budget preparation procedures.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, but only if Senate Bill No. 1050 of the 101st Legislature is also enacted into law.
