Honors Senator Curtis S. VanderWall for his service to Michigan citizens, particularly those in the 35th District comprising 12 counties (Benzie, Crawford, Kalkaska, Lake, Leelanau, Manistee, Mason, Missaukee, Ogemaw, Osceola, Roscommon, and Wexford).

Recognizes VanderWall's background including 20 years in grocery management, co-ownership of Turf Care Mole Man since 2003, Mason County Commission service including as chair, and two years as State Representative for the 101st District before his 2018 Senate election.

Commends VanderWall's Senate accomplishments as Majority Caucus Chair including chairing the Health Policy and Human Services Committee and serving as vice chair of Economic and Small Business Development and Judiciary and Public Safety committees.

Credits VanderWall with championing health care improvements, mental health resources expansion, prescription medicine affordability legislation, and expanded health care access during his Senate tenure.
