Amends Michigan's Food Law to modify section 6101 of the Food Code regarding non-continuous cooking of raw animal foods by replacing "shall" with "must" throughout the section.

Establishes specific lead leachate limits for ceramic dinnerware: 0.1 mg/L for beverage mugs and cups, 1.0 mg/L for large hollowware bowls over 1.1 liters, 2.0 mg/L for small hollowware bowls under 1.1 liters, and 0.226 mg/L for flat tableware such as plates and saucers.

Modifies food safety training requirements to specify that employees must be properly trained in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties.

Authorizes the director to adopt by rule any changes or updates to the Food Code and designates the annexes of the Food Code as persuasive authority for interpretation.
