Permits cottage food products to be sold by internet, mail order, or through third-party food delivery platforms if the operation provides direct interaction with consumers (face-to-face or virtual meeting) before sale.

Establishes optional registration program with MSU Product Center allowing cottage food operations to register for a one-time fee of up to $50 and receive a unique identifying number for labeling purposes.

Requires cottage food operations to label products with either business name and address or, if registered with MSU Product Center, the registration number and telephone number.

Makes technical corrections throughout the act including changing "shall" to "must," "any" to "a," and updating references to federal regulations and definitions for clarity.
