Allows municipal public employee retirement system boards to hold meetings electronically under any circumstances, including via telephonic or video conferencing, effective February 13, 2024.

Requires municipal retirement boards to set and publish an attendance policy that includes determination of quorum with one or more members participating electronically.

Applies to retirement systems as defined in section 3 of the Protecting Local Government Retirement and Benefits Act, 2017 PA 202.

Permits remote meeting participation for all members of eligible boards without restriction, unlike other public bodies limited to accommodating absent members due to military duty or medical conditions.

Maintains compliance with existing Open Meetings Act requirements regarding 2-way communication, public participation, advance notice on websites, and accessibility for persons with disabilities.
