Allows pharmacists to independently order and administer FDA-approved immunizing agents that are recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices or authorized for emergency use by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Requires pharmacists to complete at least 4 hours of training on vaccines and immunology from an accredited program such as the American Pharmacists Association before ordering and administering immunizing agents.

Permits pharmacy technicians to administer immunizing agents under the delegation and supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with existing supervision requirements.

Modifies the definition of pharmacy practice to include ordering and administering immunizing agents as a professional function.

Requires pharmacists and pharmacy technicians administering immunizing agents to comply with board-established rules and other applicable legal requirements for vaccine administration.
