Increase annual gross sales limit for cottage food operations from $25,000 to $55,000 per domestic residence.

Remove the temporary $20,000 sales cap that was set to expire on December 31, 2017.

Revise language throughout the statute by replacing "shall" with "must" for grammatical consistency.

Maintain existing requirements that cottage food products be prepackaged, properly labeled, stored in a primary residence, and sold directly to consumers only (no internet, mail order, consignment, or wholesale sales).

Keep existing labeling requirements including business name/address, product name, ingredients, net weight, allergen information, and a statement that the kitchen has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
