Establishes a uniform good time credit system granting all eligible prisoners one day of good time credit per calendar day served, regardless of crime date or sentence length.

Eliminates the previous tiered good time schedules (5-15 days per month based on years served) and replaces them with a single daily accrual system.

Removes good time credits only if a prisoner is found guilty of major misconduct in that month; lost good time can never be earned or restored.

Requires the Department of Corrections to recalculate parole and discharge dates for all prisoners currently serving sentences, with the restriction that recalculated parole eligibility dates cannot be earlier than when a prisoner has served one-half of their minimum sentence.

Repeals sections 34 and 35 of the 1893 Prison Act; takes effect only if House Bill 4468 is enacted into law.
