Requires drug treatment court participants to pay all court-ordered fines, costs, restitution, crime victims' rights assessments, and drug treatment court fees to continue program participation.

Mandates courts notify the drug treatment court if a participant is accused of a new crime and requires judges to consider termination in accordance with existing memorandums of understanding.

Requires judges to terminate a participant's program participation if convicted of a felony occurring after admission to drug treatment court, unless the treatment team and prosecuting attorney agree to allow continuation.

Allows courts to waive or reduce fines, fees, or treatment costs if payment would create substantial hardship or interfere with substance abuse treatment.

Effective date: June 10, 2024, with the act taking immediate effect upon enactment.
