Amends the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to update references from the estates and protected individuals code to the uniform power of attorney act regarding fiduciaries managing contaminated properties.

Changes language in section 20101b from "who" to "that" and updates cross-references to reflect adoption of the Uniform Power of Attorney Act, specifically replacing reference to section 5501 with section 102 of the uniform power of attorney act.

Updates the statutory citation range for fiduciary capacities from MCL 700.8102 to MCL 700.8206 to reflect current statute organization.

Maintains existing liability protections for fiduciaries and lenders who have not participated in property management and assume ownership in a fiduciary capacity, with exceptions for personal liability resulting from negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4597 is enacted into law (tie-barred legislation).
