MI HB4613

Grants the department authority to issue nonrenewable temporary licenses to individuals who have completed all licensure requirements except examinations for medical first responder, emergency medical technician, emergency medical technician specialist, or paramedic positions.

Temporary licenses are valid for 1 year from the date of accepted application.

Individuals holding temporary licenses may practice only under direct supervision as provided under section 20952a.

This act does not take effect unless House Bill No. 4614 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law.

Effective date: July 23, 2024.
