Allows eligible corrections officers, wardens, and forensic security assistants employed before June 8, 2025 to elect between August 4 and October 17, 2025 to transfer from the state employees' retirement system (Tier 2) to the Michigan state police retirement system, with the transfer effective January 3, 2026.

Permits conservation officers and state police motor carriers/properties securities officers employed before June 8, 2025 to make the same election during the identical timeframe to transfer retirement systems.

Requires spousal consent for elections unless the retirement board waives this requirement due to extenuating circumstances, and makes all elections irrevocable and subject to domestic relations order laws.

Allows transferring participants to move their Tier 2 contributions and vested employer contributions to the state police retirement system to purchase service credit under that system.

Excludes certain employees from eligibility, including those described in section 55(2)(b) or (d), new hires after June 7, 2025, and former participants reemployed after June 7, 2025 in these positions.
