Permits juveniles age 16 or older to be transported with adults age 25 or younger if taken into custody at the same time for the same offense or while occupying the same vehicle.

Requires juveniles transported with adults to be separated at the earliest available time and kept in separate facilities in accordance with existing juvenile detention laws.

Makes grammatical and technical updates by replacing "shall" with "must" and changing "under the age of" to "less than" throughout the section.

Maintains existing protections that juveniles cannot be confined with criminal or dissolute persons, except juveniles age 15 and older can be placed in separate jail facilities for up to 30 days when necessary.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
