Replaces gender-specific language with gender-neutral terms throughout four sections of the Michigan Penal Code (sections 30, 90, 166, and 335).

Changes references to "wife" and "husband" to "a person" and "his or her spouse" to allow individuals of any gender to testify against their spouse in prosecutions and be subject to the same criminal provisions.

Updates adultery provisions to apply equally to all married persons and their unmarried partners, regardless of gender.

Modifies cohabitation and lewd behavior statutes to use gender-neutral language ("2 people" instead of "man or woman").

Takes effect only if Senate Joint Resolution ____ or House Joint Resolution F of the 102nd Legislature is adopted as part of the 1963 Michigan Constitution (tie-barred provision).
