Allows high school student athletes in Michigan to earn compensation from their name, image, and likeness rights through commercials, endorsements, personal appearances, merchandise sales, and social media influencing activities.

Prohibits student athletes from earning compensation related to adult entertainment, alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, gambling, weapons, or nutritional supplements.

Prevents high schools and athletic associations from blocking student athlete compensation opportunities or penalizing schools whose students engage in name, image, and likeness deals, and prohibits school staff from identifying opportunities, serving as agents, or attending contract negotiations.

Requires student athletes under 18 to obtain parental consent before entering name, image, and likeness contracts and to disclose proposed deals to the Michigan High School Athletic Association at least 7 days in advance for conflict review.

Prohibits student athletes from signing contracts contingent on athletic performance, requiring school absences, or involving display of sponsor apparel during official team activities, and allows students to obtain professional representation from agents and attorneys without penalty.
