Requires health insurers in Michigan to cover hearing aids for qualified enrollees, with maximum coverage of $3,000 per hearing aid every 36 months, adjusted annually for inflation beginning January 1, 2026.

Limits coverage eligibility to enrollees under 19 years of age who have been evaluated by an audiologist, medically evaluated and referred by an otolaryngologist, and determined to be hearing aid candidates.

Allows insurers to apply standard cost-sharing provisions (deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays) to hearing aid coverage.

Permits qualified enrollees to purchase hearing aids exceeding the maximum coverage amount, with the enrollee responsible for costs above the insurance limit.

Becomes effective January 1, 2026, and is contingent upon enactment of House Bill No. 4963.
