Adds option for applicants to decline using their driver license application as a voter registration application by providing a space on the form to indicate this choice.

Requires the Secretary of State to inform applicants that under Michigan election law, the residence address provided on the driver license application will be used as their voter registration address unless they decline.

Clarifies that if an applicant declines voter registration, their information cannot be used for voter registration or preregistration purposes.

Takes effect June 30, 2025, and is contingent on House Bill No. 4983 of the 102nd Legislature also being enacted into law.
