Amends 1935 PA 120 to add a sunset date of October 1, 2027 for fingerprinting and criminal record check fees charged by the Department of State Police.

Allows the Department of State Police to charge a fee not to exceed $30.00 for taking, processing fingerprints, and completing criminal record checks for employment-related or licensing-related purposes until October 1, 2027.

Permits the Department of State Police to charge a $10.00 fee for processing name-based criminal record checks until October 1, 2027, with exemptions for government agencies and nonprofit charitable organizations using the ICHAT system.

Prohibits duplicate fees if fingerprinting or record check fees are collected under other laws, and requires fees to not exceed actual processing costs.

Takes effect immediately upon approval (September 29, 2023).
