Amends the Michigan State Housing Development Authority statute to add restrictions on voting rights for the designated resident member position when federal law requires one.

Resident member must be directly assisted by a federal housing program (public housing or Section 8 tenant-based assistance) and be 18 years of age or older on the lease.

Resident member is prohibited from voting on or participating in matters that uniquely apply only to that member and are not generally applicable to all residents.

Resident member is automatically removed from the authority if they no longer meet either eligibility requirement (no longer receiving federal housing assistance or no longer meet age/lease requirements).

Effective date: April 2, 2025.
