Expands liability protections for individuals and entities reporting suspected or completed insurance fraud to include the National Insurance Crime Bureau in addition to existing agencies and organizations

Extends immunity from civil liability (libel, slander, tort) for insurers, their officers/employees/agents, and cooperating private persons who furnish evidence or information about suspected insurance fraud to authorized agencies

Provides immunity from civil liability for authorized agencies, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, the National Insurance Crime Bureau, and their employees/agents for publishing reports or bulletins related to insurance fraud investigations

Maintains that immunity protections do not apply if the person knows the report, information, evidence, or testimony contains false information pertaining to any material fact

Preserves all existing common law or statutory privilege and immunity otherwise available to any person or entity
