Adds a new category of "authorized emergency vehicle" for vehicles owned by the Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System when operated during interlocal emergencies under the urban cooperation act of 1967.

Permits Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System vehicles to be equipped with flashing, rotating, or oscillating red, white, amber, or green lights when responding to emergencies.

Allows the Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System to sell, loan, or furnish flashing red or blue lights to authorized persons, treating it similarly to other emergency service entities.

Defines "road service vehicle" as a clearly marked vehicle used to assist disabled vehicles and relocates this definition from the emergency vehicle section to the definitions subsection.

Makes several technical corrections to vehicle lighting code language, including changes to grammar and word choice (e.g., "oscillating, rotating" to "rotating, oscillating" for consistency).

Bill takes effect only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5342 is enacted into law.
