Replaces language referring to "sodomy" with "bestiality or sexual contact or sexual penetration upon a human corpse" in the list of offenses for which biometric data and arrest records must be retained and not destroyed.

Changes mandatory language from "shall" to "must" throughout the statute for grammatical consistency.

Replaces gendered pronouns "he or she" and "him or her" with gender-neutral "the person" throughout the biometric data collection and retention provisions.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, but only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5410 is also enacted into law.
