School boards must annually report to the superintendent of public instruction the number of pupils expelled and brief descriptions of incidents causing each expulsion.

School boards must post annual crime incident reports on their websites including physical violence, gang activity, drug possession, trespassing, property crimes, and now "possession or dissemination of sexually explicit visual material of a minor or child sexually abusive material."

Property crime reports must include estimated costs to the school district; school buildings must collect and update crime information weekly and provide it within 7 days upon request.

School boards must make disaggregated crime reports available annually to parents or legal guardians of enrolled pupils, with reporting forms prescribed by the superintendent of public instruction in consultation with local districts and law enforcement.

Adds definitions for "child sexually abusive material" (per MCL 750.145c) and "sexually explicit visual material" (per MCL 750.145e) to the reporting requirements.
