Amends the Michigan Nursing Scholarship Act to add "professional" to the designation of registered nurses in eligible employment and nursing program definitions.

Updates references to the Public Health Code from MCL 333.20101 to 333.22260 to MCL 333.20101 to 333.22121 in three provisions covering hospital, nursing home, hospice, and health facility employment.

Maintains existing definitions of eligible costs (tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, transportation, day care), eligible institutions (public or nonprofit colleges, universities, junior colleges, community colleges), and eligible employment (nursing program teaching or direct patient care nursing).

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5477 is enacted into law (tie-bar provision).
