Amends MCL 600.5838a (Revised Judicature Act of 1961) to update references to the Public Health Code with current citations (1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20101 to 333.22121 and MCL 333.16101 to 333.18838)

Changes language in medical malpractice statute from "their" to properly refer to employees or agents of licensed health care professionals and facilities

Revises statutory language regarding medical malpractice claim filing deadlines to state that claims "must not be commenced" rather than "shall not be commenced" later than 6 years after the act or omission

Makes technical corrections to references to the Public Health Code definitions of "licensed health facility or agency" and "licensed health care professional"

Bill is contingent upon enactment of either Senate Bill number (unspecified) or House Bill 5477 of the 102nd Legislature
