Defines filtered water equipment as meeting NSF/ANSI standards 53 for lead reduction and 42 for particulate removal, with specific requirements for bottle-filling stations including filter replacement indicators and built-in drinking fountains.

Maintains existing provisions regarding automatic eligibility for increased capacity in family and group child care homes after 29 consecutive months of licensed operation and successful license renewal.

Takes effect only upon enactment of Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5477, indicating this bill is contingent on companion legislation.
