Allows individuals born after January 1, 1960, to obtain a hunting license without hunter safety training if they present a valid concealed pistol license issued under Michigan law.

Allows individuals born after January 1, 1960, to obtain a hunting license without hunter safety training if they present proof of honorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States.

Maintains existing alternatives for proving hunting eligibility: previous hunting license from any state, Canadian province, or country, or completion of a hunter safety course.

Permits applicants without required proof to submit a signed affidavit attesting to completion of hunter safety training, previous license possession, valid concealed pistol license, or military honorable discharge.

Clarifies that person selling hunting licenses shall record the form of proof presented by applicants.
