Amends Michigan Penal Code section 227 to add "fishing knife" alongside hunting knife as an exemption to concealed weapons prohibitions.

Replaces gendered pronouns ("his or her") with gender-neutral language ("that person") throughout the statute.

Maintains existing prohibitions on concealed carry of daggers, dirks, stilettos, and other dangerous weapons except in dwelling houses, places of business, or on possessed land.

Preserves requirement for pistol carry license and compliance with license restrictions.

Keeps criminal penalty as a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or a fine not exceeding $2,500.
