Criminalizes sexual contact or sexual penetration with a dead human body as a felony punishable by imprisonment for up to 20 years, a fine of up to $40,000, or both.

Defines "sexual contact" as intentional touching of a corpse's intimate parts or clothing covering intimate areas if reasonably construed as being for sexual arousal, gratification, or done for purposes of revenge, humiliation, or anger.

Defines "sexual penetration" as sexual intercourse, cunnilingus, fellatio, anal intercourse, or any intrusion of any body part or object into the genital or anal openings of a corpse, with emission of semen not required.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.

Known as "Melody's Law".
