Amends the Medicaid False Claims Act to update references to the Social Welfare Act from "Act No. 280 of the Public Acts of 1939" to "1939 PA 280, MCL 400.1 to 400.119b"

Changes sentencing provisions for violations of the Medicaid false claims statute from discretionary to mandatory imprisonment

Requires courts to sentence violators to imprisonment for not less than 2 years and 6 months or more than 10 years, or a fine of not more than $50,000, or both

Maintains the felony classification for persons entering into agreements, combinations, or conspiracies to defraud the state by obtaining false Medicaid payments

Takes effect 90 days after enactment
