State Court Administrative Office must create a tenant rights summary form within 90 days, in consultation with the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

Form must include a summary of tenant rights under the Truth in Renting Act, the Residential Tenancies Act, the Housing Law of Michigan, and the Revised Judicature Act, plus a list of available legal resources.

Tenant rights summary must be in 12-point boldface type, except information about release from rent obligations due to domestic violence, criminal sexual conduct, or stalking must be in 14-point boldface type.

Beginning 60 days after the form is created, landlords must attach the form as an addendum to all lease agreements and post it in common areas of rental premises.

State Court Administrative Office must make copies available in its office and on its website.
