Requires strip searches of prisoners in state correctional facilities to be performed by individuals of the same biological sex as the prisoner.

Defines "biological sex" as the biological indication of male or female based on sex chromosomes, naturally occurring sex hormones, gonads, and nonambiguous internal and external genitalia present at birth, without regard to psychological or subjective experience of gender.

Adds definitions for "strip search" (removal of clothing to expose underclothing, breasts, buttocks, or genitalia) and clarifies existing definitions for "pat down search" and "state correctional facility."

Makes terminology updates throughout the statute, replacing "shall" with "must" and "person" with "individual" or "visitor" as appropriate.
