Replaces gender-specific pronouns ("he or she," "his or her") with gender-neutral language ("the juvenile") throughout Section 5a of the Juvenile Facilities Act regarding DNA sample collection requirements.

Modernizes language regarding commercial sexual activity by replacing outdated terms like "prostitution" and "house of ill fame" with "commercial sexual activity" and expands location references to include vehicles and other places where such activity occurs.

Maintains existing DNA sample collection requirements for juveniles under department or county juvenile agency supervision who are convicted of or found responsible for specified felonies and misdemeanors related to sexual offenses and commercial sexual activity.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent on passage of House Bill 5841 or a Senate Bill to be designated.
