Adds pharmacogenomic testing as a covered medical service under Michigan's social welfare act for eligible individuals, when ordered by a treating prescriber and supported by medical and scientific evidence.

Pharmacogenomic testing covers laboratorial genetic testing to identify how an individual's genetics impact medication efficacy, safety, and toxicity for behavioral/mental health, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hematologic, infectious, neurological, oncological, urological disease, and pain management.

Department shall establish coverage standards for pharmacogenomic testing in accordance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidance, including coverage supported by Medicare determinations, national coverage determinations, clinical practice guidelines, FDA drug label warnings, or FDA-indicated tests.

Defines "treating prescriber" as physicians, physician's assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, or other licensed health professionals with prescriptive authority who intend to use testing results for patient treatment or medication management optimization.

Makes technical corrections throughout the statute, including grammatical changes and updates to federal statute references (Title XIX citation updated to 42 USC 1396w-8).
