MI HB6002

Allows licensed tobacco retailers to sell nicotine or tobacco products and accessories at fairs, festivals, and farmers' markets outside their established location if they display their license certificate and required signage.

Requires licensees to prominently display their certificate of licensure in an unobstructed manner at all times when offering products for sale at temporary locations.

Requires licensees to display a warning sign substantially similar to the sign described in section 1(14) within 6 feet of each point of sale at temporary locations.

Imposes an administrative fine of $50.00 per day for violations of the license display requirement and up to $2,500.00 for violations of the signage requirement.

Takes effect only upon enactment of Senate Bills 651 and 654, and House Bill 6004 during the 102nd Legislature.
