Requires health insurers in Michigan to provide coverage for infertility treatment beginning January 1, 2026, including fertility diagnostic care, fertility treatment, fertility preservation services, and at least 4 complete oocyte retrievals with unlimited embryo transfers.

Mandates coverage for embryo transfer medical costs when an insured uses a surrogate, but excludes coverage of the surrogate's medical costs after embryo transfer.

Prohibits insurers from imposing deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, benefit maximums, waiting periods, preexisting condition exclusions, or limitations on infertility coverage that differ from those applied to non-infertility services.

Requires coverage without discrimination based on age, ancestry, disability, domestic partner status, gender identity, marital status, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.

Specifies that coverage must follow clinical guidelines from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine or comparable organizations and cannot be limited by arbitrary factors like number of attempts, dollar amounts, or age.
