Amends the Bullard-Plawecki employee right to know act to update references to the Law Enforcement Officer Service Records Act, 2017 PA 128.

Modifies section 7 to clarify that employers may release disciplinary records older than 4 years when required for law enforcement officer separation of service records or provisional service records under MCL 28.565 and 28.566.

Updates section 9 to allow criminal justice agencies to release investigative file information to prospective law enforcement employers when part of a separation of service record or provisional service record under MCL 28.565 and 28.566.

Changes statutory references from "separation of service record" to "service records" to align with current law enforcement terminology.

Bill is contingent on enactment of either Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 6115 of the 102nd Legislature.
